Three spike speedwell stems are captured  together, each one tall and slender, with tiny blossoms stacked in tight rhythm from base to tip. The color shifts gradually along each spike soft lilac near the bottom, deepening to rich violet toward the top, with each individual bloom touched by a small hint of white at the center.

Grouping them together wasn't just about quantity. One stem reads as elegant on its own, but three side by side add rhythm and repetition slight variations in height and curve keep the trio from feeling too uniform. That small imperfection is what gives the piece its movement.

The fine, velvety texture of the individual blossoms holds up well under close focus, giving the piece real detail without needing anything extra to compete with it. Together, the three stems create a simple, upright composition with a quiet, consistent rhythm running through all of it.
